A born and raised latino in the heart of Miami with the passion to not only help others but guide them to a healthier and better lifestyle. This drive and determination didn’t happen overnight but over my Senior year of high school. I have always been an active individual as i grew up playing multiple sports like; basketball, football, skateboarding and martial arts. Growing up in the late 90’s, early 2000’s. outdoor time and staying active with my friends and family was crucial to the bonds I created with them. Beginning of Senior year (2014), I joined the gym with my pops and if it wasn’t for him pushing me to start, I wouldn’t be half the trainer I am now. Also, living with my uncle, Adrian Martinez, which was and still is a personal trainer/physique competitor, I as able to see the passion and dedication he had for bettering himself everyday. I witnessed how much effort and time he invested into his clients. As time progressed, I grew the same passion and was driven to get my certification and begin my journey in training others.
A few months passed and my uncle saw the seed that had grown inside of me to train others and took me under his wing to open up a personal training facility. As quickly as I could, I had my parents help me order my ISSA certification because I was eager to start. Personal training was my first job ever, and 6 years down the road… I believe this was my greatest decision. Master Trainer / Co-Owner of The Yard Miami, I have trained over 400+ individuals to either change or better their habits and lifestyles. Not only have I trained the general population but athletes of various sports including; basketball, football, baseball, soccer, tennis, golf and jiu-jitsu. I have been blessed with the opportunity to train all levels ranging from youth, high-school, collegiate and pro athletes. My sole purpose to train is to elevate and change their life habits. Participating in yearly seminars/workshops in personal training and human performance has always been key to sharpening my knowledge in what I do. Theres always room for improvement.
